The Road—- “Nobody Leaves” (Philippines Version)

Let me share you of what I have to say to this movie.
Since me and my friends heard really good feed backs regarding this movie we let ourselves dived into watching this movie and we had the green light on our heads going out. And by the end of the show we just went on saying the lines of the actors and actresses. We were not even scared and afraid of going home alone.
First the movie is divided into three parts. Part I: 2008, Part II: 1998, and Part III: 1988. The first part was the part where the “the road” was really emphasized and for the last two parts were just mainly the story of the first two persons who were killed and the killer itself (which I highly do not like because the movie title did not rotate to the whole story itself).
The killer was some kind of a psycho and based from the movie he was extremely traumatized on what his parents did to him way back 1988. And then suddenly he became a pscyho killing two people in 1998 because he still keeps on hearing his mother’s voice. Freaky eh?
So the story goes on, when suddenly that certain road which was closed was passed by three tweens and they tried on having driving lessons there until then they kept on going circles on that same road. And suddenly a car driving alone came along and all of the spooky stuff kept on happening.
I just have mix comments about this movie. Why? First, the story was really far from the title. My friend said that, the movie title should have been TEN instead of the road because “The Road” was not really emphasize in this movie. Hello! What’s the use of the title if does not have any connection with the title. Second, it’s scare factor was just so plain. I mean is that it’s not the typically Filipino horror movie but it’s not the same as one of those from the East Asian countries which makes me really creep out! And I don’t really know why they said that this is a good scare but to me and my friends it is really not! I would zero in that it’s just plain and has a suspense at some parts. Although I can say that it is quite boring it didn’t scare me at all. Third is the cinematography and the actors, that the cinematography of this movie is really really amazing/ It’s as if it’s not made in the Philippines. Not that I do not recommend Filipino movies but it’s like a western type of movie. Plus the actors and actress were really good as well.
So if you’re deciding on watching this movie and have another say about it feel free. :D

These are my first crack nail polish collection. It’s really a deal for having these nail polishes at a very low price believe me it’s cheaper than the ones from 168 Mall (4 for 100). I haven’t tested it on, well actually I just used the color black. And to tell you honestly I am still experimenting on how to use it properly or the way I want it to have the results I am expecting to have. But nonetheless I’m still in the move the colors I choose since they are really safe to match with other colors. :D
I will share to you the 12 new nail polishes that I bought from the Cosmetic Fair held in Trinoma Landmark Departmenr Store last October 29, 2011.

My Lippies Collection
I just want to share with you the lipstick collection that I’ve got so far. To tell you honestly they are quite few. But I really adore these lippies and believe me I’m starting to like a lot of lipsticks now a days. Not to mention I love the colors Pink, Orange or Coral. I would also want to try Nude colors since I want to keep my everyday make-up as natural as I want to. :D
Basically my lipsticks comes from the line of Etude House, The Face Shop, Ever Bilena, Avon, Nichido, and NYX. Oh there are also lip balms coming from Nivea and The Body Shop. :D

I got a load of stuff in my make-up kit. It’s actually for backups or just simply I don’t want to have the same color in my lips or cheeks that’s why I have alternatives for that one.
Obviously you can see a lot of Korean Cosmetics in my list, well I actually love their products. :D
There are two things which is not included and I don’t know if I will be putting them and those are; eyebrow kit/pencil and eye shadows. Some of might ask why I don’t have them on my kit. Well to tell you honestly I don’t know if I still need to use an eyebrow kit since I have a full eyebrows already so if I would draw more it the tendency would be I would get a very dark and fuller eyebrows (I will look like a wolverine girl version in that case!) plus I haven’t got it thread yet. So probably if I can get my threading already then I would buy me a eyebrow kit already. Another thing is the eye shadows. I don’t really want to wear eye shadows in day time or in school, simply because I feel like it’s overly done especially if you’re living in a country like Philippines. I feel like it’s heavy as well which I don’t really want to feel. But probably if I’ll be working then I will be wearing it but neutrals and nudes only.
That’s it. Wait for my other blog for other exciting stuffs. :D

FRIDAY
THE PODIUM
One of my dreams is to meet Nicholas Sparks and today it happened. Yes a dream come true it is. I know it’s nothing fancy or what. But a dream is a dream which made to be come true. :)
This has been a well full-filled day of my life. One of my greatest idol in the general fiction had made me an opportunity of a lifetime. :D
Nicholas Sparks is just as romantic as his novels are. And believe or not what he is what he is like his novels. The way he talks about love, tragedy and struggles is just not on the fabrics of his novels but it reflects his life as well.
During the book signing he shared a part of him that everyone in the crowd went “aww” Yes my friends he told pieces of himself on how he creates the stories which turned into a world phenomenon.
A Walk to Remember’s Jaime was basically his real sister in life. He told us that she died because of brain tumor. The Notebook’s leading characters was like his parents. His father died six weeks before his marriage and his mother died as well (I can’t remember what he said how). Any how he proudly told the crowd that he is Noah in real life. :)
He also shared what was the easiest story he wrote and the story he most enjoyed doing and that is our most favorite of all “A Walk to Remember”. Simply because he can relate to the story when he was doing it. Unlike the other stories he did, he had a really hard time doing because of the age.
But nonetheless he was still the best love storyteller ever to be made. At the age of 45 he already made 17 best selling novels of all time. He also did six movies out of those novels which made the world asks for more.
Not to mention, there will be three more movies coming up for the next two years.

He already spoiled us, telling us that Zac Efron will be the lead star. And this will be on March 2012.

What can I ask? He is such an amazing person. :) And I believe I really got a good impression towards him. It’s really hard to explain but it yeah. I still can’t over it! :))

There was this “early bird” girl who was really lucky. I can’t imagine myself going there at 2AM in the morning just to see him. But dang this girl is sure lucky, she got her three books personalized autograph plus two more hugs from him. ENVY! But I had the share of it anyway.

Zarks Burgers!
I was really getting excited with the idea of eating here! Actually it made my day! I was full all night because of their burgers! :D
The price ranges from Php.100-Php.500. Actually the price is not that bad for a big burger. I mean if you have a big appetite then you deserve to eat this kind of burgers. :D
By the way, if you’re asking why Php.500? Too much! Well it’s actually not too much! Just right for those of you who wants to take the challenge! It’s one of their very big and tall burger. Not to mention if you get to eat it within ten minutes it’s already FREE. Yes I am telling you it’s for real! :)) It’s name is TOMBSTONE, if your wondering about the name. There’s also this burger which you can get for free if you eat it within five minutes, and that is JAWBREAKER (the name itself is very risky already!). Oh within those time you should also have to finish the huge fries and drink included with the meal. :)
This is actually a must try, if your one of those persons who is very adventurous when it comes to food ! :)

Yes! Finally, finally, finally! I bought two new lipsticks! Well, is it not obvious that I am so excited about these products? Hahaha! Anyway, since I don’t have any lipsticks anymore (for everyday use) might as well buy some new goodies. At dahil feeling ko na, I need to pamper myself with this kind of things I bought two! :D
I bought them at THEFACESHOP in Mall of Asia. They cost around Php.595.00 each, both of which came from the same line. I was really surprise with the effect, I thought it won’t do good with the undertone of my lips. But it went really nice! I loved it! It’s very natural and very soft, just the perfect colors that I want to use in an everyday basis and since Christmas season is fast approaching I decided to sport with these kinds of colors. :D
Though they have cons as well. First is the packaging. It’s made out of plastic. So malamang sa malamang madaling masira. If your basing it with the price it’s really expensive! The next thing is that, the content is pretty small. You can get the same amount with Etude House with a price of Php.198.00-Php.298.00 each. See the big difference. But if your the type of person who doesn’t care about the packaging it’s a good buy as well! But if you’re a very budget conscious person better not buy this one. You can look for other alternatives in the drugstore. A lot of Drugstore Make-Up almost have the same colors and outcome, you just have to be good at it. Just like Maybeline, Cover Girl, Revlon, and Loreal. :D
